If you can answer most of these questions within a year or so, you might reasonably expect you could continue to be an asset to yourself and to those about you who depend on your efforts. Who are you at essence? What lasting character remains a continuing part of all that you value? Who are you in the dreams that wake you with joy? Who is it you would become if the choice had to be made for your next lifetime right not? What is it that you radiate? We all communicate a great deal just moving about in our world. What would you guess your effect is on others by just being in their presence doing routine events? What is it of substance that you carry into the world with you each day? What is your gift? We all have special and unique gifts. Most of them are invisible to us because we are them. Often our children know exactly what we’re good at because they haven’t been taught job descriptions or don’t know what an IQ is. Wherein lies your true value to others? What is your relationship with yourself like? Usually the person we speak with most during the day is ourselves. In fact, our inner dialogue probably exceeds our outer dialogue by quite a margin. To what degree is that dialogue useful? Is your witness (the other voice) a friend? Are you y our own best champion? What is your higher purpose? Is there a mission in life that you occasionally feel called upon to do? Is there a service to the world, or to something noble that emotionally touches you? Have you told anyone? When are you most alive? Is there a kind of work, a place you go, or a circumstance that you find yourself in that boosts your capacity because it is sheer joy? Do you cause that circumstance to be repeated just because you enjoy it? Are you ever really able to rest or feel blissful? What is your bliss? Is it having a quiet moment in the most pristine natural setting? Is it finishing a very challenging project? Is it a moment of heart full intimacy with a new friend? Is it lying in the sun after a great swim in the ocean? Do you ever pan to have that bliss in your life on a regular basis? How intimate can you be? Can you reveal a real weakness in yourself to someone you barely know? Can you share feelings of attraction for someone without getting caught in the sexual routine? Can you share a simple hug with a co-worker that is natural and unguarded? Do you have massages as a matter of health? Are you being all you can be? What challenge have you set for yourself this year? What would be an edge for you, something that could cause you to break through an old fear? If you could add just one powerful skill to your own toolbox, what would it be? Are you satisfied with your awakening process? Do you avail yourself of new ways of looking at the world, new ways of physically increasing your versatility, or new ways to scout unknown territory? When was the last time you caught yourself in the act of doing something marginal and corrected it on the spot. When did you last reinvent yourself? Some people make New Year’s resolutions. Some people see psychics. Athletes look at champions and model themselves after their best features. Mental rehearsal is a proven technology. What you focus on you eventually become. How and when will you re-design yourself next? Are you capable of wonder? Have you ever had a mystical experience? Do you ever think about the magnificence of life and beam with joy? How about approaching a new adventure with a childlike enthusiasm? Do you ever simply marvel at the miracle it is that we are here with the vast capabilities we each have? These questions will increase in value every time that you ask them. From www.arcturus.org/navigators/navquest.html
